One of the most thrilling aspects of my job is painting vivid imagery with words and creating results-driven advertising and marketing campaigns that move people to think, feel, and take action.

As a creative director and senior copywriter for over two decades, I’ve created copy that makes an impact and led creative teams to produce successful ad campaigns. I’ve written, directed, and produced television, radio, digital, email, social media, and print campaigns for clients in nearly every industry — from fashion, retail, and finance, to hospitality, travel, tech, non-profit, the performing arts, and more.     Direct the conception, creation, and execution of all advertising and marketing campaigns. Manage and collaborate with designers, videographers, consultants, and other creative department team members to develop written and visual content for television, radio, digital, email, social media, and print campaigns. Lead creation of the season brochure featuring over 300 performances, including design, writing, and editing copy.

    Directed all aspects of marketing for financial analysis software products. Managed production and wrote copy for all direct mail marketing materials and television, digital, radio, and print ads. Researched, analyzed, and planned marketing campaigns, including digital and e-mail, print, television, radio, and direct response. Bought and scheduled all media and managed advertising and marketing budgets. Established relationships with industry partners, solicited testimonials, and assisted in planning and promotion of industry events.

  • I knew I wanted to be a writer when I was ten years old.

    When I announced this to my folks, you can imagine how thrilled they were. My dad said facetiously and with a look of fear in his eyes that I would be the only one of their five kids to never leave home, “that sounds lucrative,” he quipped. I was excited by his reaction, until I looked up “lucrative” and learned how to spot sarcasm.

    Since it was the only thing I ever wanted to do, besides running and becoming a mother, I pursued it. And today I guess you could say I have it all. When I’m not writing copy and leading the creative process to produce campaigns that will make your clients and prospective clients do exactly what you want them to do — book a vacation, take a tour, climb on a boat, purchase a product, further their education, give to a cause — I’m singlehandedly raising my brood of four and running as many miles as I can.
